What does JodJam back up?
Everything posted in your group chat (messages, photos, and files) from the moment you add the bot onward. It is kept permanently and stays searchable and downloadable anytime.
Can it back up messages from before I added the bot?
No. LINE does not allow fetching past history, so JodJam starts capturing from the moment the bot is added. The sooner you install it, the less you miss.
Are photos in the group's Album, Notes, or Keep backed up too?
No. Albums, Notes, and Keep are separate LINE features that outside systems cannot access. JodJam only backs up what is posted in the chat. To make sure an important photo is saved, post it in the group chat.
Who can see the backed-up data?
Only members of that specific group. Every member can view the group’s chat history (both messages and files); recalled (unsent) messages aren’t shown. Everything is private and accessible only through authenticated links, and we operate in line with Thailand’s PDPA.

How to use JodJam

  1. Add the bot as a friend

    Add JodJam's LINE official account as a friend first.

    Add @jodjam on LINE

  2. Invite it to your group

    Invite the JodJam bot into the LINE group whose messages and files you want to back up.

  3. The first to open the link becomes the owner

    The bot posts a setup link in the group. The first person to open it and log in becomes that group's owner.

  4. Configure settings & add an AI Key

    The owner can configure the group in the dashboard. The key step is pasting a Google Gemini AI Key to switch on the AI assistant (free to start, with usage-based charges from Google for heavy use).
